Walk to work.

It doesn’t have to be a long walk either, just a short walk each day can make a difference. Fitting a workout into your work days can be difficult, so changing your form of transportation to work from a car to walking can be a simple, easy change that will help to change your life for the better.
* Invigorating. Unless you’re a morning person, it can be hard to get your mind in gear for work. The last thing you want to do is an arduous workout to wake you up before work; however, just making the change to walking to work may be the only action you need to take. You can make the walk as brisk or slow as you need to help get your mind going in the morning. Instead of a morning caffeine rush which will make you crash later, you can use a relaxing morning walk to wake up.
* Economical. We all have to combat the cost of running a car, and walking to work is a simple way to cut costs. Short hops can cost a great deal in terms of gas. By making the change to feet as a means of transportation to work you can make that money you’re earning go even further.
* Responsible. Going hand in hand with economy is the environment. We all want to do what’s right for the environment. Instead of hopping in your car for that quick hop to work, strap on your shoes and help save Mother Nature. Walking to work isn’t just healthy for you; it’s healthy for the world.
It might be easy to be lazy and just jump in that car, but remember all the benefits you’ll gain by walking. Walking to work is a simple, yet effective, way to keep you healthy. It’s easier to make a commitment to something healthy when it’s also useful. That morning walk will help to clear your mind, and keep it clear; unlike caffeine. Additionally, you’re going to work earn money, so why not save some by not having to fill up your car as frequently. And finally, not filling up your car as frequently will be as beneficial to the environment as it is to your wallet. So try the healthy alternative, and walk to work!
